How to Manifest the Perfect Man (or Woman)

I am the world’s luckiest woman. My Love takes such good care of me. I am currently in an Ayurvedic clinic in India where most of the staff here do not speak very good English.  My Love (an Indian Native) generally handles the communication with the staff.  He recently left on a business trip, and before he left, he fetched a supply of water to last me until he returns, he told the nurses to take care of and watch over me while he is gone, and he pre-arranged for my breakfast to be delivered every morning (he takes care of that when he is here).  He made sure I have everything I need and the day he left, he told me how beautiful I am, AND he gave me the most amazing massage after I told him my muscles were hurting. Wow.  God must really love me, to bless me with such an amazing guy. Truly. So grateful. Thank you, God. He truly is exceptional. I’ve never met anyone like him. Next to God, he is my total best friend.

Listen, I haven’t always been so lucky in love.  I’ve had my fair share of losers.  (Okay.  That’s probably an understatement lol).  So, how did I end up with such a phenomenal guy?  Well, in New Age speak, I ‘manifested’ him.  In old school talk, I prayed for him and my ‘prayers were answered’.  Which ever verbiage works for you, go with it!

You see, through the years, I’ve said many prayers for that right guy, and I had made many a list of exactly what I wanted in a man.  Men would come into my life that would actually possess these very qualities I was hoping for, yet the relationships just didn’t work.  So, what did I do different this time?  It can be summed up into two words:  Allow and Surrender.  This time, I said my prayer and I surrendered the rest to the Universe, or my divine.  After that, I just forgot about it and went on with life, with the faith that God would bring the right man into my life at precisely the right time for us both.

My prayer was also different.  I didn’t ask for a man that has any specific quality, like being kind and caring and loving.  I didn’t ask for a man that looked a certain way or had financial stability.  I had already learned that asking for these things didn’t work.  So this time, I simply surrendered it to my divine and asked for a man with pure intentions, the most beautiful heart; whom I have things in common with; who would have my best interest at heart and would be the perfect match for me Right Now.  Then I left the rest up to God.

I didn’t stipulate that it needed to last forever either.  Instead, I realized that God knows exactly what I need in my life right now and whether or not it is a relationship that’s here for a reason, a season, or a lifetime?  Well, that’s really not my business until or unless it’s revealed to me.  In other words, I gave up my crystal ball and simply left it all up to God.

It was shortly after that prayer that Terrance showed up in my life.  I’m sure glad I left all the little details up to God, because Terrance has far exceeded all of my expectations of how a man could enrich my life.  Had I tried to inject what I wanted into that prayer, I don’t think I would have someone as amazing as Terrance because, in my consciousness at that time in my life, I didn’t even realize men like Terrance existed outside of a fairytale.  Thank GOD I didn’t limit myself!!

My point?  Don’t pray for a man or woman that will do this or that for you.  Don’t pray for a man or woman that looks a certain way.  Don’t pray for a man or woman that has this quality or that quality.  Don’t pray for a relationship that will last forever.  Instead, pray for a man or woman that has pure intentions and a heart of gold.  Pray for the man or woman that you can have fun with, who will make you feel like a goddess (or a stud), who understands the value of the human spirit and will have your best interest at heart.  And then once you’ve said that prayer, surrender to the Current Moment; to Right Now, knowing that God or the Universe will deliver exactly who you need at exactly the precise timing that you need him or her – not a millisecond sooner or later.

Have faith, that if you are still single, there is a reason for that.  And if you are tired of being alone, whose to say God isn’t spending this time forming and shaping and molding you into the person your ‘One’ is going to recognize and, if you met a minute too soon, maybe s/he wouldn’t recognize you at all?

Have faith, that if you lost a love, it wasn’t yours to keep.  Whose to say God didn’t bring that person into your life to mold and form you into the person you are meant to be; the person your ‘One’ will be able to recognize?  Perhaps the last love that you lost was brought into your life simply as a mirror to teach you about yourself.  If you learned anything valuable or had any valuable experience from it, then there’s a lot to be grateful for… many spend a lifetime alone without ever experiencing romantic love at all.  Many don’t even know what it feels like to know that someone’s got your back.  If you do, get own on your knees and thank God for that.

Once you say your prayer, LET IT GO, with the FAITH that your divine is going to bring that right person at precisely the right time for you both and not a second sooner or later.  If you’re constantly thinking about wanting a man or the fact that you don’t have a man (or woman), then guess what?  That’s what you’re vibrating out to the Universe, and if you’re vibrating that out to the Universe, then that is what you are creating.  So, instead, say your prayer and release it into the Universe (hand it over to God) and then surrender to God’s will in your life.  In the meantime, move foreword spending the next however-long-it-takes working on YOU and finding out what makes YOU happy because by doing that, you are already getting one step closer to the love you deserve (and the love your One deserves to receive).

Everything happens in it’s own time.  If it’s not happening, it’s not time yet.  God doesn’t always give us what we want.  God gives us what we WOULD want if we could see what God can see and if we knew what God knows.
