moves and vibrates. That includes us. The thoughts we have (and hold) have an immediate impact on our vibration and, much like a ripple in a lake, our vibration influences our own environment; every life we touch; and the world at large*. So, when I am asked to share these images and horrible stories, I simply refuse, because:I inevitably come across social media posts with reckless images of someone abusing an animal or child, urging me to share the content. For the love of humanity, I refuse to share. Below are some of my reasons why, and a glimpse into what I do instead. Read on to discover the importance of your own vibration and in joining me in this practice. Everything in the Universe
A. I think about how I FEEL when I see these images. That feeling is something I am vibrating out to the Universe. What I vibrate at impacts my life and every life I touch. Which raises a couple of questions:
- Why would I want to hold that vibration (and therefore attract similar vibrations back toward me)?
- Why would I want to add that vibration to the Universe, therefore impacting every life in it?
B. Once we see the image, it's in our mind and heart. Our experiences, thoughts, and environmental input are not just in the head, they are also experienced in the body. Every image you see; every book you read; every movie you watch, every experience you have, every trauma you experience - they are all stored in this mind-body system. This includes the energy bodies, and it includes That which is connected to All That Is. So, one must ask ones Self, "Why would I want to proliferate this image (and associated feelings) into my own body? Or that of others? Or out into the All That Is?"
C. The All That Is holds the Cosmic Web of Consciousness; every thought that exists and has ever existed. Not just your thoughts and experiences, but that of every other person who is currently living or has ever lived. The more negativity we proliferate into the Cosmic Web of Consciousness, the more negativity we build up in our current societies and all generations of the future. What’s more, this negativity must eventually have an outlet. The same as people are driven to random acts of kindness, susceptible ones are also driven to random acts of violence (such as the 2012 Auorora 'Batman shooting' or the terrorist acts of the twin towers). They are all acts, driven by what is stored in the All That Is. Better to proliferate love, is it not?
D. Most people’s initial reaction to something like this, is to wish the same harm upon the perpetrator, thereby proliferating even a bigger storm of negativity and impure thoughts back out into the All That Is. As we can see in paragraph C, this has monumental impacts upon the entire world now and in the future. Hate breeds hate.
E. Once I have seen an image like this, it is very difficult to keep it from popping into my consciousness over and over again. For most folks, every time the image pops into their consciousness, it will create a holding pattern of keeping them in that lower vibration and bringing up more and more negative thoughts. Again, these thoughts and feelings get proliferated out into the All That Is and, eventually, those thoughts & feelings must have an outlet. Why would we do this to our Brothers and Sisters? Or to ourselves?
So, when I see a post like this on social media, instead of proliferating the negativity and opening the door to my Brothers and Sisters to have the images burned into their consciousness, I pray instead. I pray and ask God to bless the perpetrator and the victim, and I pray for the liberation of the souls of both. Then, I post something positive on my own wall; be it a post of gratitude, or a funny. I hope you will join me in this practice of holding and proliferating a positive vibration, for the Greater Good.
Blessings, Love and Light to you!
In Love and Gratitude,
*Studies have been performed, having a monk or a group of people meditate (holding a higher vibration) to see if it could reduce crime rates in the area. Preliminary statistics from one study (published in the New York Times) reported that violent crime dropped 23.6 percent in the first four weeks.
God brings people into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Through every relationship, we are being taught, molded and formed into who God has designed us to be. Whose to say these losses aren't necessary in order to mold and form us into the person our Special One is going to recognize?
If we learned something - anything - from a lost relationship, then it wasn't all for naught. Sometimes, that 'reason', or lesson, is for us to find our own self worth and value; to treat ourself with respect and honor, by walking away from those that treat us wrong. If you’re too busy wasting time on someone that is treating you wrong, you won’t ever be available for the One that will treat you right!
Maybe you’re not losing love. Maybe you are gaining new beginnings! Trust that the Universe has your right where you are supposed to be; not a second sooner or later. Someday, you’re going to look back on this time and be grateful for this loss (and gain).
Here’s a T-shirt I saw in the mall in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India:
"SINGLE. God is looking at you right now saying, “I’m saving this one for someone special”

It’s just amazing to see how the divine manifests in our life. I’m in a hotel in Chennai, feeling a bit nervous as I prepare for my flight home to the United States (after having been gone to India for a year). I’ve been in this room for two days, yet it wasn’t until just this morning that I noticed my divine showing up on the shelf in the room. Do you see it? On the bottom left side of the shelf below the television?
Here it is, close up. How does one explain that?!
If you haven’t read my post about God’s Love Bug, it explains a little more about the hearts manifesting in our lives. You can read about it here. The divine manifesting in my room today is just another confirmation to me that I am not alone; that God is right there with me, supporting me, carrying me, and going before me. I love how the divine manifests in this way in the moments when I seemingly need this reminder the most. Thank you, God.

I am the world's luckiest woman. My Love takes such good care of me. I am currently in an Ayurvedic clinic in India where most of the staff here do not speak very good English. My Love (an Indian Native) generally handles the communication with the staff. He recently left on a business trip, and before he left, he fetched a supply of water to last me until he returns, he told the nurses to take care of and watch over me while he is gone, and he pre-arranged for my breakfast to be delivered every morning (he takes care of that when he is here). He made sure I have everything I need and the day he left, he told me how beautiful I am, AND he gave me the most amazing massage after I told him my muscles were hurting. Wow. God must really love me, to bless me with such an amazing guy. Truly. So grateful. Thank you, God. He truly is exceptional. I've never met anyone like him. Next to God, he is my total best friend.
Listen, I haven’t always been so lucky in love. I’ve had my fair share of losers. (Okay. That’s probably an understatement lol). So, how did I end up with such a phenomenal guy? Well, in New Age speak, I ‘manifested’ him. In old school talk, I prayed for him and my ‘prayers were answered'. Which ever verbiage works for you, go with it!
You see, through the years, I’ve said many prayers for that right guy, and I had made many a list of exactly what I wanted in a man. Men would come into my life that would actually possess these very qualities I was hoping for, yet the relationships just didn’t work. So, what did I do different this time? It can be summed up into two words: Allow and Surrender. This time, I said my prayer and I surrendered the rest to the Universe, or my divine. After that, I just forgot about it and went on with life, with the faith that God would bring the right man into my life at precisely the right time for us both.
My prayer was also different. I didn't ask for a man that has any specific quality, like being kind and caring and loving. I didn’t ask for a man that looked a certain way or had financial stability. I had already learned that asking for these things didn’t work. So this time, I simply surrendered it to my divine and asked for a man with pure intentions, the most beautiful heart; whom I have things in common with; who would have my best interest at heart and would be the perfect match for me Right Now. Then I left the rest up to God.
I didn’t stipulate that it needed to last forever either. Instead, I realized that God knows exactly what I need in my life right now and whether or not it is a relationship that’s here for a reason, a season, or a lifetime? Well, that’s really not my business until or unless it’s revealed to me. In other words, I gave up my crystal ball and simply left it all up to God.
It was shortly after that prayer that Terrance showed up in my life. I’m sure glad I left all the little details up to God, because Terrance has far exceeded all of my expectations of how a man could enrich my life. Had I tried to inject what I wanted into that prayer, I don’t think I would have someone as amazing as Terrance because, in my consciousness at that time in my life, I didn’t even realize men like Terrance existed outside of a fairytale. Thank GOD I didn’t limit myself!!
My point? Don’t pray for a man or woman that will do this or that for you. Don’t pray for a man or woman that looks a certain way. Don’t pray for a man or woman that has this quality or that quality. Don’t pray for a relationship that will last forever. Instead, pray for a man or woman that has pure intentions and a heart of gold. Pray for the man or woman that you can have fun with, who will make you feel like a goddess (or a stud), who understands the value of the human spirit and will have your best interest at heart. And then once you’ve said that prayer, surrender to the Current Moment; to Right Now, knowing that God or the Universe will deliver exactly who you need at exactly the precise timing that you need him or her - not a millisecond sooner or later.
Have faith, that if you are still single, there is a reason for that. And if you are tired of being alone, whose to say God isn’t spending this time forming and shaping and molding you into the person your ‘One’ is going to recognize and, if you met a minute too soon, maybe s/he wouldn’t recognize you at all?
Have faith, that if you lost a love, it wasn’t yours to keep. Whose to say God didn’t bring that person into your life to mold and form you into the person you are meant to be; the person your ‘One’ will be able to recognize? Perhaps the last love that you lost was brought into your life simply as a mirror to teach you about yourself. If you learned anything valuable or had any valuable experience from it, then there’s a lot to be grateful for… many spend a lifetime alone without ever experiencing romantic love at all. Many don’t even know what it feels like to know that someone’s got your back. If you do, get own on your knees and thank God for that.
Once you say your prayer, LET IT GO, with the FAITH that your divine is going to bring that right person at precisely the right time for you both and not a second sooner or later. If you’re constantly thinking about wanting a man or the fact that you don’t have a man (or woman), then guess what? That’s what you’re vibrating out to the Universe, and if you’re vibrating that out to the Universe, then that is what you are creating. So, instead, say your prayer and release it into the Universe (hand it over to God) and then surrender to God’s will in your life. In the meantime, move foreword spending the next however-long-it-takes working on YOU and finding out what makes YOU happy because by doing that, you are already getting one step closer to the love you deserve (and the love your One deserves to receive).
Everything happens in it’s own time. If it’s not happening, it’s not time yet. God doesn’t always give us what we want. God gives us what we WOULD want if we could see what God can see and if we knew what God knows.

So you know what I did? I said, "nuh-uh. Not this time, Sneaky Bitz! I caught you! Haa ha ha! Nice try!" Then I got my butt up out of bed and I went to Ashtanga practice. On the way home, I treated myself with the nourishment of a fresh young coconut (one of nature's best source of electrolytes). Then I cleaned my yoga mat and let it, and me, soak up the sun for thirty minutes. After that, I stepped up my game. You see, part of the reason for the physical pain is because some areas of my body are weak. So, I treated myself farther by doing 280 various forms of crunches and 296 reps of various leg lifts. Then, thanks to my lovely roommates, I treated myself to some home-made Sambar with home-grown lentil and mung bean sprouts! Take that, Sneaky Bitz! Actually, you have to be kind to Sneaky Bitz, because it is a part of you.. almost child-like, you have to teach it new ways to be 🙂 Sneaky Bitz is your friend. Ha ha ha ha. Truth is, although it sounded good at the time, had I rolled over and went back to sleep, I would have felt really bad about myself later and my practice would have suffered. If you're wondering how I do it or how I get the strength or motivation in moments like this, you're not alone; a friend recently asked me the same thing. It can be defined with two words: Self Love. But how do you love yourself? What is Self Love? Ah... multi-million-dollar questions, each with a several-part, multidimensional answer. Check out this quote I posted on my Facebook page: So, I asked myself this morning, "If I really, truly love myself, then would I allow myself to go back to bed, knowing the negative consequences?" The answer was a re-sounding, "NO!". If that question doesn't resonate with you, then try this technique that I used to use as my gauge. Change the context of the question and ask yourself, "If my best friend were in this situation, what would I advise him or her to do?" It's a powerful question that lends us the ability to see the situation through a different lens. For most people, put in the context of someone other than ourselves (especially someone we admire, respect and love), the answer is easily accessible. Once, I sat in a car with two young adults (in a relationship) arguing over who had hurt who the most. After the young woman poured her heart out to me, relaying all of the 'wrongs' her boyfriend had done over the past three years, I was astounded that they were still together. What's more, I could clearly see that this girl lacked self love. So I gave her the magic question. I said "You love and respect your best friend dearly, right?" "Yes", she replied. "Okay. If your best friend were in this situation, what advice would you give to her?" She said, "I'd tell her to end the relationship immediately and leave his sorry ass!" "Then why do you not love and respect yourself enough to do the same?", I questioned. A still silence consumed the vehicle and the rest of the ride was very quiet. You see, in all truthfulness, this man had treated her very wrong, but I couldn't tell her that. It's something she had to see and figure out for herself. Her Sneaky Bitz was making excuses for this guy and, up to that point, she was convinced that they belonged together in a relationship. The next day, she left him. Do you have a Sneaky Bitz? What questions or techniques do you use to over come it's grasp?Allow me to introduce Sneaky Bitz. You might already know Sneaky Bitz. You see, Sneaky Bitz is that aspect of me (or you) that tries to sabotage things in life... and often, Sneaky Bitz does this in a sneaky way - sometimes to the point that we are not even aware of it. If I'm not paying attention, Sneaky Bitz might succeed but I've gotten pretty good at playing Sneaky Bitz's game. Ha! For example, I woke up this morning and it felt like every muscle in my body ached. My Sneaky Bitz tried to convince me that I could baby myself and stay home from Ashtanga yoga practice, reasoning that I'm tired, I hurt, I've worked hard and I deserve a break, right?! All valid arguments, right? Why not pamper myself a little for a change? Ha!
link to a recipe for Mint, Cucumber, Lemon water and here is what one of my readers has to say about it: "i been trying [this] drink out for the last couple of days (and eating the contents in the evening!) well all i can say is it really has got things moving (and i didn't know i had things which needed to be moved lol!) got to be good for me!!" This recipe is supposed to be a "fat flush" drink: [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54Vm9e4qMtU] This site lists 8 different "detox" water recipes: http://bembu.com/detox-water-recipes Truthfully, drinking some of these instead of soda may suck at first, until your taste buds change. Just proceed with the understanding that after you go a while without the soda (sugar) your taste buds will change over time. Once they do, the infused waters will actually taste good and the soda will eventually taste gross. Also, for me, the more processed sugar I consume, the more I crave. As long as I stay away from it, I didn't crave it.. but it generally takes about 2-4 weeks for the cravings to disappear after cutting processed sugar out completely. Coconut water is also good for you but it may taste pretty disgusting at first, especially if it's packaged. Again, as your taste buds change, the taste will improve. Coconut water from Young Thai Coconuts is sweeter and yummiliscious! Here is what they look like:Soda is full of sugar, and it's bad for you. If you have fat around the middle of your body you can thank sugar for that. Seriously, research it. How do you kick a soda addiction? Replace it with something good, like nutrient infused water. Here is a

Across the street I saw two men fighting.. over trash. That was a sobering experience. To think that trash can be so valuable that it's worth fighting over. As I watched from the other side of the road, I began to give both men distance Diksha. They were getting physical, slapping and shoving one another, and then one of them picked up a big rock and raised it as if he was going to bash the other guy in the head with it. I turned my head, I couldn't look. As I drew down even stronger forces of energy, channeling it toward these two men, I could feel my hands heat up while the energy emanated from them. "Good", I thought, "Something is making it's way over there". While I continued to send energy their way, I prayed for their peace and prosperity; then I prayed for Spirit to break up the fight and resolve it fairly. I urged for the bag to be broken up and divided fairly. Suddenly, a bigger man from my side of the street started hollering at them, then he crossed the street, stepped in and broke up the fight. I gave thanks, and about that time, it also stopped raining, so the driver took off. As we passed the three men, the large bag was being opened and one of the me was taking items out of it. Perhaps they were making a fair division? Who knows. As I climbed the stairs to my apartment, showing gratitude to my divine, I realized... it wasn't just the man that broke up the fight that Spirit was expressing through... Spirit was expressing through all four of us... Interacting with itself... It kinda blew my mind a little bit lol. Was this timing divinely orchestrated so that the energy work and prayer would take place? Or would the man have intervened anyway? Nobody knows, but it sure leaves one to wonder at the magical possibilities of life! Later, I got notice that a package arrived, then another kind man gave me a ride to the mail place. I was elated to receive a box with my favorite chocolate and an awesome water bottle and baggies. Ziplock baggies!! What a luxury item to have in this country!! Great for keeping the ants out of my chocolate, ha ha ha!! Love and Blessings to you! JodiMy day is full of love and light!! It rained all day. Rain is a blessing. A kind man offered me a free ride home on the back of his scooter so I didn't have to walk in the rain. On the way, it started to rain really hard so we had to pull over and wait under a tree until the rain let up.
Something's happening. You may not know it yet, but it's taking the world by storm.. and it's contagious. If you read this post, you will likely catch it. You've been warned. You see, it's the divine (or call it what you will - Spirit, Creator, God, the Universe.. what ever resonates with you). It's God's Love Bug... the divine expressing itself through-out the Universe, in a language we can all understand; in the language of the divine. The divine talks to us all the time, through various avenues, and one very powerful means of communication is through visual symbols. The language of the divine is Love, so how can the divine express love visually? Through hearts! Yes. Hearts! Seriously folks, check out these pictures. They are just a very small sampling of the collection I've captured, throughout my journey in India, of this phenomenon. The divine is everywhere, expressing itself through hearts, to show you that you're not alone, that your divine is with you every second of the day and will always be with you. The divine expresses itself through love. Through a piece of paper on the floor or ground - or through trash: Through the rocks:
Through the animals - seriously folks, I can't make this stuff up lol! There are too many miracles here to deny it. How many perfectly shaped heart rocks have you seen in your life time? How many animals with hearts? Aside from the two pics of me kneeling by the calve, these are all different animals that have crossed my path! Even the calf that looks the same on the second row.. notice one has white legs and the other doesn't.
It expresses through food; a 'Good Morning' message from the divine in your breakfast fruit salad, a treat given to you from a friend, the shape of freshly delivered pizza, or even a left over crumb (Note: These fruit salad pictures were taken on separate occasions):
Through trees and leaves, through the way the grass grows, through the asphalt and other nature bits:
But how do I know it's the divine? Well, stay tuned for that story. However, I will share this: I was walking down the street discussing this with a friend. Suddenly he stopped in amazement. I asked him what was going on. He said he asked God, "if this is real, then show me a heart". He then looked down and there was a heart on the sidewalk right by his foot! It looked like an oil stain of some sort, or perhaps something wet on the cement. Later, I went back to take a picture of this heart - and it was gone. True story! Life is full of miracles (if you remain open to them)!! Check out today's Soulystic Suggestion below and open yourself to God's miracles today.

While I was on the trail to the viewpoint of the Matrimandir in Auroville... ... I kept praying for a heart-shaped rock. I saw so many rocks, leaves and nature-bits that were heart-shaped.. The song, "All You Need Is Love" kept coming into my consciousness. When I got to the end of the path, look what waiting for me! How amazing is that?!! I found this right at the viewpoint, directly in front if the Matrimandir; to the right in this picture: I am just feeling so blessed!! Thank you, God, for all the beautiful miracles you bring into my life; for the grace that flows through and around me! <3 It doesn't stop there, though. The entire experience has changed my consciousness. When I got back to my hotel room, the messages of love just continued. Do you see what I see? Ask your divine to give you the ability to see the beauty, magic and wonder in the simple things in life. Ask your divine to bring about a simple miracle in your life with the next few days, and to make you aware of this miracle. Thank the divine for all the beautiful miracles you've had thus far. God is right there, waiting for us to dial His number. Once you dial, why hang up the line? Why not stay connected all day long? Talk to God about everything you see, do and feel! You know that feeling you get when something happens great in your life and you're all excited and you can't to wait to run and tell your total best friend?! Yeah, that feeling. Let that be your passion toward God. And you know how, when something icky happens and you're down in the dumps and just want your total best friend to comfort you (be it your spouse or mom or your best buddy)? In these moments, talk to God. Turn to God the same way you would rush to your best friend with exciting news, or to your mom/spouse for comfort. Then be amazed at the relationship that builds between the two of you! Love to you <3 JodiYet another beautiful miracle in my life!! I'm a total rock hound, and I generally collect a rock from where ever I travel. Why not? It's a unique gift from God. It produces no waste. It will not take up a land-fill, it connects me to Mother Earth, and it's all natural lol. In fact, I can even make Stone Soup out of them if I ever need to (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/043933909X/ref=aw_1st_sims_2?pi=SL500_SS115). Today I went to the Matrimandir in Auroville, India.
The universe is so abundant with light and love!!! I was waiting at the dentist and a gentleman just came up and said "Do you need a piece of candy sissy?" (That's what my mom and dad call me!). I said "Oh no thank you, I'm good." He smiled, "Oh I know you're good!", and turned to walk away. So here's a man that I had just overheard telling the clerk that his wife is getting out of the hospital today, but she has to go to a nursing home. Yet he is still spreading his love and light to the world, despite the upsets in his life. Why can't we all be like that?! What a wonderful expression of God he is!! He was headed out the foyer when I jumped and up and went after him, calling, "Sir?!" He turned with that calm smile and politely waited for my next words. "Do you need a hug?", I asked. He pause briefly, then raised his hand and made the peace symbol, "I need TWO!", he exclaimed. So I gave him a warm hug, followed by another. He asked me if I had any children. "Yes! I have a daughter in college." To which he responded, "in college?!!", as if surprised I could be that old. "Yes sir", I said with a giggle. "Well then! I guess she's old enough to have candy.", he said, while pulling out his bag of bubblegum and Smarties. Wouldn't you know? These are two of my daughter's favorites!! I told him so, as I kindly accepted candy from a stranger. No. He was no stranger. He is a magnificent expression of God sharing his light and love with the world. We can learn through the simplest of exchanges. A fine example and testimony of how we can let our light shine, even when everything isn't perfect in our own world. For God is an abundant source of Love! I also learned that sometimes? Well, sometimes, people need us to accept what they are offering, even if we don't want or need it. Sometimes it's really for their heart as much as it is for our own. You know... this exchange truly did make my day; somehow I get the feeling it made his day, too. I said a prayer of thanks for a beautiful exchange and went about my day, in awe of the simple yet profound ways that God works through others to show us love. How did you see God or love in action in your life today? How did you express God or Love today?
